Plaids and Tartans were by far the most heavily used prints on the 2020 fall/winter runways giving us timeless warmth and comfort. Interestingly enough, I’ve never been a big fan of plaids until recent years. I can’t really explain it but I adore the plaid coats, jackets and scarves that are in your favorite shops and boutiques.
Vintage Florals were also seen on many runways for this fall and winter. I’ve always loved florals and they’ve been quite popular for the past couple of years.
Tapestry prints will also be seen in a number of garments including sweaters, dresses, and capes. How fun are these prints? I say plenty!
Big Florals have been popular this entire year. In fact, we’ve seen florals of all sizes and in a variety of colors and fabrics.
Abstract Artsy Animal prints were also seen on the designer runways including Chanel and Thom Browne.
Equestrian-Inspired styles including riding boots, slacks and capes are making a strong comeback this season. Burberry is showcasing several print designs in this style.
Retro Flair is also seen in our shops with logo-embellished loafers, double-breasted wool coats and Pagode sweaters. If you like retro, this is your season!
